About Lonna

Lonna Edery is an educational facilitator at iLEAD Exploration. She resides in the west San Fernando Valley, and is the mom of two charismatic boys. She spends most of her free time keeping them busy through entertaining and enriching activities in hopes to create meaningful experiences, and lasting memories.

Lonna is passionate about children and education, and has been working with children and families for many years. She has worked as a public elementary school teacher, a preschool teacher, an educational facilitator, and ran a large home-based developmental preschool called Early Explorers for 10 years in Tarzana.

She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Santa Barbara. She then went on to receive her teaching credential through Cal State Teach, Monterey, and then went back to school to finish her masters in education, with a focus on child development, at the American College of Education. Her experience and education has strengthened her understanding of the importance of healthy relationships, environments and experiences, and supporting the development of the “whole person.”

She has met so many wonderful families along the way, and loves working together to promote the best support, and educational experiences for each individual student. She aims to foster curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning, and to set the stage for lifelong success. As they say, “it takes a village,” and Lonna feels fortunate to support families throughout their journey at iLEAD.
