About Daisy

Daisy Deckmyn grew up in Belgium and graduated with a master’s degree in biochemical engineering. After working in the field for over twelve years both in Belgium and Singapore, she moved to the USA in 2001. Since 2015, she has been a private chemistry tutor/instructor and she joined Chaffey College as a part-time faculty member in 2018.

Helping learners grasp chemistry concepts and watching them grow into motivated and confident learners is the most rewarding part of educating young people.
