Welcome!

At the learning studio, we establish a caring and supportive environment where all children are provided the opportunity to become lifelong learners. We set a priority of recognizing and respecting each learner’s special abilities and guide them to their own personal success. Through our caring environment, each learner’s intrinsic motivation and curiosity is channeled into student-guided learning opportunities. Opportunities for collaborative learning include a variety of hands-on experiences.

Over the course of the year, iLEAD Exploration credentialed Facilitators teach multi-grade classrooms in science and social studies focused around a historical theme. The theme for the 22-23 school year is Wonders of World History: Ancient Civilizations to Medieval Times. In the area of science, the studio focuses on engineering and design principles while in social studies, historical and social events are explored with a literature emphasis. Attending the two days of instruction, in addition to some work at home for learners in grades 3-8, fulfills the learning expectations for each week in science and social studies.
